Elmore Leonard

Elmore Leonard, très célèbre aux Etats-Unis pour ses westerns et ses romans policiers, a conquis un large public en France. Son style graphique et efficace, son humour, ses dialogues ciselés, ses histoires d'une rare inventivité lui ont valu de nombreuses adaptations cinématographiques (notamment Zigzag Movie en 1995 sous le titre Get Shorty, Punch
Créole devenu Jackie Brown en 1997, Loin des yeux devenu Hors d'atteinte, Killshot et en 2005 Be Cool). Auteur prolifique dont une trentaine de titres a déjà été publiée chez Rivages, il est désormais considéré comme un classique.
